Upgrade:
October 2002 – January 2004
During this
first phase Split Rock conducted a CIS evaluation to determine
if AAI should upgrade or replace their back-leveled product.
Our experienced professionals stepped them through a business
case which helped them decide the best course based on business
requirements, time to implement and overall costs. Their
decision was to upgrade to Indus BANNER® CIS ®
3.1; including multiple custom modifications and 10 major
releases to the BANNER product.
Split Rock
implementation contributions included: project management,
analysis and documentation of business processes, technical
upgrade strategies and execution, creating a plan for new and
refresher training, risk management, test planning and testing.
CIS
Consolidation:
February 2004 – July 2007

planning and management of the creation of two new call centers,
the conversion of their affiliated companies, in 13 states, to
the BANNER® CIS 3.1 system and the selection of a Work Force

state-of-the-art Voice Over IP (VOIP) phone system, conversion
of data from four different CIS products providing billing and
customer support to over 750,000 AAI customers and the
evaluation, selection and preliminary planning for the
implementation of a Work Force Management system across the
entire AAI service area. Split Rock managed the overall
consolidation and standardization of business processes among
the AAI companies in Phase 2.
